Széchényi Thermal Baths

Szécheny Thermal Bath is one of Europes largest spa complexes and was built in 1913, the first thermal bath of Pest. It is located in the City park just behind the magnificent Heroes Square. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece in Neo-Baroque style worth a visit alone. Szécheny bath has 15 pools, both in and outdoors, 12 of them are thermal baths. The water are reputedly capable of healing gynecological, dermatological, nervous system and digestive system problems.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath also have a Wellness Center offering services like: Healing cure program, dry and steam sauna, carbonic tub-bath treatments, mud-packing, underwater water-beam massage, medical healing massage, foot massage up to knee, foot care and much more. Prices for massage 2007:
- Refreshing massage (15 Min.): 2.500 HUF
- Refreshing massage (30 Min.): 3.500 HUF
- Healing massage (15 Min.): 2.600 HUF
- Powder massage (30 Min.): 3.800 HUF
Opening hours: Thermal pools available 06.00 - 07.00 every day. Availability of services are more limited on weekends. For more details se link below.
