The Pozsonyi Kisvendéglö (restaurant) is a very simple but charming little local restaurant near Westend Shopping center. It is often crowded by families and students since they serve large portions and have very modest prices.

Pozsony serve typical Hungarian dishes, mostly meat, like Cigany pecsenye (veal with garlic with bacon served with pommes) and paprikas csirke (paprika chicken with gnocci). Dont forget to try one of the delicious soups like the creamy mushroom soup or the cold cherry soup.

Time to fringe - Prepare for Budapest fringe festival

The Budapest Fringe Festival is described as “a side-runner to the Budapest Spring Festival” and “like a huge Talent Show … that gather and in some way support the less known (underground) artists through securing a place for their performance”.

The performing artist are mainly from Hungary but also from neighbouring countries like Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and more distant countries like France and Japan.

350 performers will appear during the two and a half days of the festival.
